Animal Experts

Mammals, fish, reptiles, amphibians, insects and birds are all categorized into different groups of animals. They all have different characteristics. Some are oviparous and some are viviparous...Parents, do you know what those mean? (Ayson wanted to see if you knew) Some are vertebrates and some are invertebrates... Some are herbivores, some carnivores and some are omnivores. 


Kiera: Elephants are mammals.
Maggie: Chickens are birds and descendants of dinosaurs. 
Noah: All reptiles have scales. 
Desmond: Reptiles have armor for skin. 
Alee: Cats are mammals. 
 Alexander: Insects have an exoskeleton.
Avante: Turtles are reptiles and they have hard shells.
Ben P.: Snakes and crocodiles are reptiles.
Makayla: Sharks have their own category. 
Eliza: Amphibians start to breath with gills then grow lungs.
Breezie: All insects have 6 legs and 3 body parts. 
Brayden: People are mammals!!
Andrew: All reptiles' stomachs are close to the ground. 
Tola: Mammals produce milk for their babies. 
Ayson: Mammals are warm blooded. 
Landyn: If an animal is cold blooded, it will have to rely on the warmth from the sun. 
Clara F.: Whales are mammals!
